Be Well Together 2022 is the second annual Community Suicide Prevention Initiative (CSPI) two-part conference made up of a virtual webinar on October 14th and in-person events throughout October.
To honor the mental health and wellness needs of a diverse population within Orange County, Be Well OC is partnering with several community-based organizations beginning in October to host a series of “Community Healing Events” tailored specifically for the populations they serve.
These communities will get to discuss their unique experiences with mental health, learn about existing resources, and celebrate life together with food and creativity. See more details below.
Webinar featuring keynote presenters Donna Quach and Dr. Abram Milton speaking on first responder mental health, and a team from Stanford who will discuss their evidence-based screening process for optimal aging. CEs are available for this portion of the event.
The Wellness & Prevention Center's Youth Advisory Group explored how to anchor oneself in their passions to increase wellbeing. The event included a conversation about passions and mental health and an opportunity to build Find Your Anchor boxes that support peers in the community This was an event for youth 12-25 years old.
